今年聖誕 , 我打算反行其道, 與其在街上別人迫, 我選擇留在家中,親手下廚! 在沒有甚他人的打擾下, 甜蜜過渡。反正聖誕節到那都很多人, 有什麼浪漫可言。反而在家, 感覺更SWEET.

聖誕快到了, 為了不要在男友前出醜, 我當然要練好廚藝, 一本料理食譜自然少不得了。今次計劃煮西餐, 沙津, 頭盤, 甜品, 簡單是我最大要求。 剛好這書乎合我的要求,

食譜不算多, 其實太多, 我反而不懂選擇。而這書最大優點是分類仔細, 由沙津, 湯, 中式, 西式, 飯/意粉, 甜品一應俱全。 我的心水菜式是 牛油果蟹肉沙律, 田園千層魚柳批, 焦糖布甸. 這書的步驟寫得很簡單, 我急不及待買來試煮, 味道不錯!

I found it to be a great read. In fact, I finished it in two sittings. It is a very timely and sharp blend of fiction/non-fiction that manages to accomplish the following: an intelligent perspective of an American who is not quite fully committed to an expatriate status. In fact, he sounds like a lot of us in our exhausted state of sad wonder at how the world got to be the way it is.

The difference is, the character in the Monkey in Me is brutally honest about the world, and about himself. He manages to do this with a particularly entertaining and adept command of language. I don't know if this book is published in Chinese but the stunning release of a veritable word salad of pop culture, politics, and poetry recalls the poetry of alan ginsberg and the angry songs of bob dylan.

In my opinion, these slim chapters show us the true hero and character of one brave enough to say it. It is on these pages with their peppering of perfect words that i believe the true artist emerges and I look forward to more of that coming forth, perhaps in future writing.

Alas, the love story takes over and the hungry heart betrays its most vulnerable self. The monkey plays both the offensive and defensive ends. He shoots. He scores. He is yet alone. The author is brutal both with the world and himself and it gets ugly. Confusion? Yes. Love? Maybe. But "Hope?" under a Chinese Sky? I'm not so sure. To put the word "hope" in the title was a bit of a stretch.I could not see its emergence in such acerbic conditions.

例如星巴克從來沒有出錢買廣告, 只靠公關力量支持, 亦能在很多客人心目中建立穩固地位。今時今日一聊起"咖啡", 好多人心目中即時聯想起星巴克。

另外除了企業, 就算只是一本書, 透過公關技巧, 也可以 創造銷售傳奇。好像哈利波特之所以暢銷全國, 實際是依靠很多公關行動支持, 當然作者本身也是聰明人, 每次出書都懂得賣關子, 創造話題!

學習的第一步是複製別人的成功。創意只不過是參考過後加多減少, 或重新包裝。 所以要學好公關, 首先要知道別人是怎樣成功的!
