  • Okay

This book was okay... I found it amusing at times and I am not sure if that was the authors intent. This is the first book I have read by this author and am currently reading the second in the series between books to see how the characters evolve.

I honestly found the writing pretty poor and the characters annoying at times, yet this book was a kind of fun read all the same. I will probably check out other books in the series if I have time and try to ignore the other flaws in it. I do wish that I felt like the characters had a better sense of motivation for what they were doing. It seemed to me the author just picked semi-random actions for them because she thought it would be a good story, rather than create a personality for them and see where that would take them in the world she created.
