First in the series
I love this author's take on the supernatural - very unique, I thought. After the "Turn", witches, werewolves, vampires, pixies and fairies came out of the woodwork and became a part of society. I honestly found the writing pretty poor and the characters annoying at times, yet this book was a kind of fun read all the same. I will probably check out other books in the series if I have time and try to ignore the other flaws in it. I do wish that I felt like the characters had a better sense ... (continue)

Okay
This book was okay... I found it amusing at times and I am not sure if that was the authors intent. This is the first book I have read by this author and am currently reading the second in the series between books to see how the characters evolve.
