The Story of Edgar Sawtelle : A NovelBlog this item
    • The Story of Edgar Sawtelle
    • Beautifully written and plotted - this is easily one of the most compelling books I've read all year. Plus, this author really knows dogs. His canine characters are every bit as diverse, developed, and realistic as their human counterparts.

    • I don't see how people say this book is for dog lovers. They kill a dog on the 4th page. This book clearly isn't for me.

Another reader's comment said they were disappointed with the ending and at first I was, but I really don't know any other way it could have ended. I fell madly in love with the Sawtelle dogs. Where can I get one?

I would like to know what became of the relationship between Edgar's mother and Claude, and what happened to Glen.
