I remember reading these books as a child on cold days with a fire blazing and a cup of tea by my side. My favorite has to be The Silver Chair. I related so strongly to Jill Pole that it seemed strange sometimes. She would say exactly what I was thinking. I still watch the 1980s BBC verions even though the special effects are dated. These stories must have been thrilling to listen to on BBC radio during WWII.
This story is fabulous in its comparison of the characters with Jesus, the devil, etc. If one knows the Bible, you can see it throughout the entire book while you are reading.
This is quite an interesting story, I enjoyed it very much.
I read the Chronicles of Narnia when I was ten years old. It was fun to re-read them. I have always loved C.S. Lewis! The movie was phenominal too!
This book was even better than the first (The Magician's Nephew). Again it is a great book for children and adults.
