I really like this book,but I read it several years ago and I read it in Chinese translation. I suggest if you want to read it, you can read it with another book which title is "Images". This book also talks about his life, which is related to his experience of his film.
Magic Lantern is his background of his personal life and his relationship with many women. I would say this to read his book will cause you think about his image of his film. It shows how an artist was raised up.
