Name of author, Michael Crichton or Crichton Michael?

I had spent much time in unifying the author name to "Michael Crichton" for most of the books I placed in the bookshelf, but today I just found all of them be renamed to the god damn "Crichton Michael".

What's the hell aNobii members or the administrator is doing?

I think they decided to put family first. But I really think they should say 'Crichton, Michael'.

By the way, I found it very strange: http://www.anobii.com/books/016e23c8e82fba26d5/ . I can't figure it out why there are Korean descriptions in a book published by United States...

OMG. It is quite frustrated to see this messing information. Though there are different version different languages of books for the same master content, it is the webmaster to keep the ultimate editorial authority for book details.

Web 2.0 means the content contribution from users, but the factual content must be correctly stated, otherwise users will not find it reliable to use the site.

It should definitely read Michael Crichton. It winds me up no end to see the surname listed first. But like you say Mingles, you invest a lot of time & effort to put things right & in no time at all everything reverts back to what it was.
