  • Yet another great Breed book from Lora Leigh. Yes the story line is the same, breed finds his mate, breed must save her from the danger of those that would see them destroyed. It is still a great read though; I love all of Lora Leigh’s books that I have read so far. This one did have a bit of a nice change for the series. I was glad to see that someone of some importance in politics is now affected by the Breeds. I’m cures if Breeds will have more rights & how there laws will be impacted now that the president’s daughter will become part of the Breed family. If you’re looking for a good trashy paranormal romp with some kink pick this book up. ... (continue)

Another great read from Stephenie Meyer. Don’t be turned off by the fact that it is a YA novel because there is nothing juvenile about this book. Bella may only be 18 but don’t be fooled she is all grown up. She has practically raised herself, plus her mother, & she is about to be off & on her way to collage & is engaged to Edward. I’m absolutely head over heels for Edward & I am so excited that they are tacking there relationship to the next level & Jacob is out of the picture relationship wise. Jacob is a great guy, & I hope the series will continue & he will find someone for himself, just not Bella they don’t seem right for each other. I can’t wait for her next novel The Host. ... A cute peace of juvenile fiction. Raven had it all made, a love child with two loving hippie parents. Then it happened, her parents grew up, had nerd boy, & traded in the old VW van in for life in small time subberbia Dullsville. Raven was crushed she now had to spend her nights up late watching Bella Lugosi alone inspiring her wish to be a creature of the night because vampires were the only people that would ever understand her. Years later she got her wish or at least she thinks she got her wish when a mysteries family moves into the abandon mansion in their small town. She meets the mysterious Alexander (her very own goth boy, in the town of soccer snobs). After breaking into his house & finding all the mirrors covered, the family tree with no dates, & the monster paintings she is convinced the mysterious family must be vampires & that she is going to become one of them. This was a really cute story with a good moral but I hated the ending. I’m sorry but I’m a sap for happy endings, & I hate cliff hanger endings. I may pick up the next book to see what happens since it was such a short read if I don’t have anything else better to read. ... (continue)

Have you ever wanted to know what it's like to be immortal? To journey through the night stalking the evil that preys on humans? To have unlimited wealth, unlimited power? That is Kyrain’s existence, and it is dark and dangerous & this novel will take you along for the ride. Although Kyrain projects a dark side there is so much more to him, he loves & cherishes his servant as his family, & would do anything to protect them & anyone that he meets. I think he has finely found a women that can look past the man with battle scars that run to deep to be seen by the human eye, & can conquer his fear of beatrale in Amanda. If you love a fated mate’s romance & would like a quick read with a vampire them & a healthy dose of God’s this is the book for you. ... (continue)

It’s taken me a long time to get around to reading this series, & know I regret waiting so long. I’ve never been one for young adult novels, always finding them to juvenile, with just mushy kisses & no storyline, but I must say this series blew them all out of the water. Bella May be a high school student, & Edward may have to act like a high school boy, instead of a decades old vampire, but they are both wise beyond their years. This book was quite fun, with just a hint of high school drama. I would suggest these books to anyone, I’m starting the second book now, I can’t wait to see who Bella’s relationship with the vampire family progresses, & if Edward will bend to Bella’s will & make her immortal. ... This was the last thing I would have expected from Kelley Armstrong and I love surprises. It was such a treat to pick up her book & find that she had jumped from werewolves, & Vampires, to another Realm & a story about Savannahs mother Eve proving to us that she may have been a dark witch but there is no evil in her. I have to say I would have liked a happier ending but this is an urban fantasy & not a paranormal romance, but if Kris & Eve were happy with the way there lives ended up than so am I. ... (continue)

The book took me on a fast passed ride packed with lots of action. Every time that you think that things are ok and that the cases is solved you look at the book there’s a twist or you meet another quirky character and you realize there’s more to come. I’ve read this book a dozen times, but I will admit that the first time it took me awhile to get into it. After I got over my hang up that Paige is no Elena the book picked up & I flew through the rest. I love that Kelley mixes up the characters in which she is writing about, keeping the series from getting dull & repetitive to me. I hope we will be hearing more from Paige, it took awhile for me to warm up to her but she has bloomed into a heroic female lead. ... (continue)

I have never read a book with such a modern take on vampires. Who would of known that Vampires would like to go clubbing, & listen to rap, when there not hunting down the evil that plagues the world existence. The Vampires may live a modern lifestyle, but they still act as if they are in the 19th century if you are of the female persuasion, you will stay hear, I will protect you, you will be my wife etc. They still have there old customs, & the brotherhood is not only a pack of Warriors, but one big family. This was a really quick read, with quite a few steamy scenes between Wrath & his mate, & I’m a sucker for books about fated mates so I enjoyed this book. ... (continue)
