(continue)

This is lucid and succinct~!~ Is there "theology" before Scholasticism? According to Leclercq, the answer is without doubt a positive one. Monasticism, although is always in association with mysticism, it is still a way to study, to gain the knowledge of God. This kind of knowledge, unlike those we obtained from philosophy or natural science, is deduce from experience -- to be exact, the experience of a contemplative life. This is a theology of admiration, of love, but of little speculation only.
I firmly believe mysticism/ monasticism will be the pathway for inter-religions dialogue and the antidote towards nowadays somewhat skeptical and definitely nowadays losing contact with human soul kind of culture.
