I found this much harder going than 'Gravity's Rainbow', 'V' and other early works. The skewed view of American 80's seems so much a cartoon and the characters so unlovable that I bailed on this one 3/4 through. I may have thought more of it if the milieu felt more real or I thought there was more value in satirizing what's already been trashed and taunted pretty well all round.
